My Burden for the Children
I still remember the day when my heart was deeply moved for these children.
While walking through the slum communities, I met many mothers who were struggling to survive alone. Many of them shared heartbreaking stories. Some told me that their husbands had become trapped in alcohol, drugs, or crime, and eventually abandoned their families.
These mothers were left alone to raise their children.
Today, many of them work as housemaids, cleaners, or daily wage workers, doing whatever work they can find just to provide food and education for their children.
But even after working so hard, many of them still cannot meet their children's basic needs.
I saw children wearing torn clothes. Some had no proper shoes. Some were sent home from school because their school fees had not been been paid. Others had no school bags, books, or stationery.
Out of helplessness, some mothers eventually stopped sending their children to school because they simply could not afford it.
The first time I witnessed these realities, my eyes filled with tears.
That day I prayed and said,
"Lord, I cannot change this alone. But if You touch the hearts of people and bring them together, we can bring hope to these children."
Since that day, this burden has never left my heart.
This ministry was born from that prayer.
My desire is simple—to help vulnerable children receive education, proper care, and the opportunity for a better future.
The Children's Reality
Every morning, many of these children wake up with one painful question:
"Will I have enough food today?"
Some children go to bed hungry.
Many wear torn clothes while watching other children walk to school in clean uniforms.
Some walk barefoot because their shoes are broken.
They dream of becoming teachers, nurses, police officers, engineers, doctors, and many other things.
They want to study.
They want to help their families one day.
But without school fees, books, uniforms, and basic support, those dreams slowly begin to fade away.
These children are not numbers.
They are children with dreams, talents, and a future.
Sometimes all they need is one opportunity.
Our Current Need
Right now, we are seeking support for 12 children who urgently need help.
These are not the only children who are suffering.
There are many more children living in the same difficult circumstances.
For now, we are taking one step at a time by helping the children we are currently able to support.
Our prayer is that, as more hearts are moved with compassion, we will be able to reach many more children in the future.
Monthly Support for One Child
The monthly support needed for one child is approximately:
₹6,300 per month (Approximately US$67)
This support provides:
- Nutritious Food
- Education & School Fees
- School Supplies
- Hygiene Essentials
Monthly Need for 12 Children
To support all 12 children, the total monthly need is approximately:
₹75,600 per month (Approximately US$800)
